AWEIL Recruitment 2026 for Executive Corporate Communication Post

Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Department of Defence Production, has invited applications for the recruitment of Executive (Corporate Communication) on a full-time, fixed-term contract basis. This is a prestigious opportunity for communication professionals with a strong background in mass media, corporate branding, and digital content creation to contribute to one of India’s leading defence manufacturing companies. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing AWEIL’s public image, media relations, and internal and external communication strategies.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks.
  • Two-year Master’s Degree or Diploma with at least 65% marks in Mass Communication / Journalism / Advertising & Public Relations from a recognized university/institute.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Communication/Imaging, media management, in-house publications, advertising, or related functions.
• Must possess strong writing skills and excellent spoken/written command of both Hindi and English.
• Experience working with Government/PSUs or reputed private organizations is desirable.

Desirable Skills:

• Digital design experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
• Proven ability to manage social media platforms.
• Experience in branding, designing newsletters, annual reports, and media liaison.
• Proficiency in computer usage will be preferred.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age: 35 years as on the last date of application.

Terms of Appointment

• Duration: Initially for 1 year, renewable up to 4 years based on performance.
• Work Hours: As per office timing. May require presence on weekends/holidays without extra pay.
• Posting: Primarily at AWEIL Kanpur, but may be deputed to other units/offices.
