Indian Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025
The 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (Territorial Army), 39 Gorkha Rifles, has announced a recruitment rally to fill 37 vacancies for various Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and Soldier-level positions. The recruitment is exclusively for Ex-Servicemen (Pension Holders) and Ex-Women Employees (including premature retirees) of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) and State Forest Departments. The rally will be held from 23rd to 27th September 2025 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh).

Eligibility Criteria
Education
Candidates must be:
- Ex-servicemen or Ex-women employees (including premature retirees)
- Retired from MoEF&CC or State Forest Departments
- Minimum 20 years of service
- SHAPE-1 medical category
- Character: Exemplary or Very Good
Age Limit
- Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs): Up to 55 years of age
- Other Ranks (Soldiers/Tradesmen): Up to 50 years of age
- Enrollment Window: Within 5 years from the date of retirement

Candidates must qualify the following:
- 1 Mile Run
- Pull-Ups
- 8’/9’ Ditch Crossing
- Zig-Zag Balance Beam
Proficiency Test
- Tradesmen: Trade-specific test
- Ex-Women Employees: Afforestation and nursery management test
Salary
Pay and allowances will be provided as per Territorial Army rules, equivalent to Regular Army pay scales for the respective rank.
