ICAR IGFRI Recruitment 2026 for 5 Young Professional-II Posts

ICAR – Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute (IGFRI), Jhansi has announced recruitment for 5 Young Professional-II (YP-II) posts on a contractual basis under the project “Utilizing Perennial Grasses for Revolutionizing Sustainable Bioenergy Production under Challenging Environments.” Candidates generally require an M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding, Seed Science and Technology, Plant Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry, or a relevant Graduate degree in Agricultural/Crop Science. Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview at ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh on September 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards.

2. Complete the application with the required personal, educational and professional information.
3. Attach self-attested copies of the required certificates and supporting documents.
4. Prepare four sets of biodata and carry a self-attested photograph along with copies of the required mark sheets and certificates.
5. Bring all original documents for verification at the interview.
6. Serving candidates should also carry an NOC from their current employer.
7. Report at ICAR-IGFRI, Gwalior Road, Near Pahuj Dam, Jhansi – 284003 on September 15, 2026. Candidates should arrive around 30 minutes before the scheduled 10:00 AM interview time.
