The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the NIOS Recruitment 2026 notification for 34 Group A, Group B and Group C posts on a deputation basis. The recruitment includes Assistant Director (Academic), Academic Officer (Hindi), Librarian, Section Officer, Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant posts. Eligible officers from Central/State Government departments, Universities and Autonomous Bodies can apply. Selected candidates will receive salary as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix ranging from Level 4 to Level 11. Interested candidates must submit the online application and send the hard copy through Speed Post before the prescribed deadline.

Select up to three preferred posting locations as permitted in the application form.
Submit the online application on or before 03 August 2026 and take a printout of the submitted form.
