UPPSC Recruitment 2026 for 1156 Professor & Assistant Professor Posts

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced 1,156 Group-A Gazetted teaching vacancies for Professor and Assistant Professor posts under the Medical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh (Allopathy) through Advertisement No. D-1/E-1/2026. The recruitment includes 44 Professor and 1,112 Assistant Professor vacancies across various medical specialities in government medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Educational qualifications and required medical specialisation vary according to the respective post and subject. Online applications started on 18 August 2026, and eligible candidates can apply and pay the prescribed fee up to 01 September 2026.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official UPPSC website and open Advertisement No. D-1/E-1/2026 under the notifications/advertisements section.
2. Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process if not already registered.
3. Open the application form and authenticate using the OTR number.
4. Select the relevant Professor or Assistant Professor post and speciality.
5. Enter the required personal, professional and other information in the application form.
6. Complete all required sections of the online application and verify the entered details.
7. Submit the online application by 01 September 2026.
8. Take a printout of the finally submitted application form.
9. Send the application printout along with the prescribed self-attested documents to UPPSC within the period specified in the official notification.
